Welcome and thanks for visiting!!!
Getting to Know Farm Nanny:
As well as raising and homeschooling my five children, I have fully enjoyed the raising and breeding of rare and/or endangered breeds of animals over the course of two decades, including Dutch-belted cattle, blue-eyed white miniature donkeys, miniature Australian shepherds, dwarf nubian goats, babydoll sheep, Shetland sheep, muscovey ducks, and chickens that laid super dark brown or green eggs! These were a favorite for some of our customers at Easter time, because they didn't have to color them!!!
My children are all grown now, but my greatest joy was to raise them in such a storybook setting. It was everything I dreamed of and much more. Now I am blessed to be "Nanna" and introduce my grandbabies to the wonders of nature and God's beautiful creation.
Through the years I've had many farm-related side jobs, besides tending to my own. Caring for the needs of other folks' pets, livestock, horses, gardens, and yards has been a very meaningful way to supplement my income. I've been honored to be trusted with people's farms and homes while they were on vacation, on business trips, or were simply extra busy. Knowing how priceless our furry family members are, I have taken extra care to protect them as my own. I love caring for animals, doing yard work, gardening, and creating beautiful landscapes. Camping, fishing, hiking, and baking are also very high on my list of things I love.
It's been long understood that having a farm often makes you feel like a slave to it, since getting away, even for one night, sometimes seems impossible. I want to change that for you! Now that I have the time to give full-time attention to being "Farm Nanny", I am making myself available to the Lodi, Lockeford, Woodbridge, Galt, Acampo, Clements, and Wilton communities. You can rest assured that I will give my very best in time and care to your farm, ranch, home, pets, and farm animals and will go the extra length to make sure you are very happy with the results.
You probably think that sounds nice but would be too expensive. Not at all! I understand this and especially realize that times are hard right now. I want you to be able to get away with peace of mind and some money in your pocket. For first time customers, I'll need to come out for an orientation (free to you) to meet your furry, feathered, and/or scaled family and be shown the routine they are accustomed to. From that point it will be up to you to contact me to come back; I will never put pressure on you.
Farm Nanny is now on Facebook! I hope you'll "Like" it and join us!
